Today I'd like to go over with you some common college interview mistakes that we tend to see or hearabout quite frequently.
We wanted to treat the college interview as if it's your firstreal big job interview.
Both the college youattend and your first job have profound implications on your future.
The first mistake we see isnot researching the college.
Make sure to ask questionsthat are relevant to a college that you'rebeing interviewed for.
The second mistake wesee is being too shy.
Don't answer every questionwith just a yes or no or grunt.
You want to make it seem as if you're something to offer that college.
The third mistake we see is, on a flip side, is being too brash.
Don't be too arrogant.
It can be off-putting ifyou go on and on about how you're great at thisand amazing at that.
The fourth mistake we seeis giving a prepared speech.
If you rehearse a speech overand over again, it may sound artificial and maybe not assincere as you look like.
